Studio Improvements We Love!

This year, thanks to very generous donations of nearly $11,000 from various donors and supporters, we have made many improvements to the studios of Southern California Ballet. We hope this makes everyone even more proud to call themselves a part of Southern California Ballet!

The improvements include:

Lobby’s new look - Thanks to the efforts of our board chair, Terry Worley, and a group of very dedicated volunteers who gave up many summer hours to paint and sand, the lobby now has a new look We added our striking logo to greet everyone who enters and the phrase "Training that last a lifetime” on the next wall to remind everyone what we are aiming for and achieving here at Southern California Ballet.

Protective barriers - In the studios, we have added new barriers to the garage doors, both to stop the elements from coming in as well as to keep our young dancers safe during the summer months when it becomes necessary to keep those doors open.

Ceiling fans - Speaking of those summer months... Recently, all the fans in the studios were replaced and extras added so that those much-loved, hot San Diego summers do not stop our dancers from performing and dancing at the levels to which they strive.

Window tinting - New window tinting on the whole front of the building has also maximized our energy efficiency to help keep the building cooler and keep our studios private, whilst also uncovering the windows to allow in much more natural light.
